/usr/bin/file

zilfrid
Bonjour
Il semblerait que mon fichier /usr/bin/file soit défectueux

ex 1 "extrait de /var/log/maillog"
[parts_decode_ext FAILED: file(1) utility (/usr/bin/file) failed]
ex 2 "test sur un fichier texte"  [$ file TEST_ASCII.txt
/etc/magic, 1247: Warning description `8-bit ISDN u-law compressed (CCITT G.721 ADPCM voice data encod' truncated
/etc/magic, 1267: Warning description `8-bit ISDN u-law compressed (CCITT G.721 ADPCM voice data encod' truncated
file: Printf format `?' is not valid for type  `string' in description `face %']

Quel solution proposez vous pour le changer?
Merci
Reuploader les sources et refaire une compile du noyau et de l'userland?
Reinstaller le systeme?
Autre proposition?

Bonjour,

je commencerais par remplacer /etc/magic.
