new i386 laptop: Samsung X25

Stephan Schmieder
Hi list,

I'm glad to report that OpenBSD 3.8 runs like a breeze
on the Samsung X25 (model: np-x25t000seg).

What doesn't work: bluetooth, firewire, acpi
hehe, hope that was a good one :)

The IPW2200BG seems to work with the iwi(4) driver and ipw firmware.
AC97-Sound works right out of the box, but without volume adjustment.

My dmesg and xorg.conf can be found at: https://unixgu.ru/samsungx25/

Forgot anything?
-> Drop me a line at [hidden email] or just reply to the www@ list.

greetings,

I found some minutes today to play with the ipw2200 on my Samsung X25
and have to correct myself:
It doesn't work, at least not with the most recent firmware.
