[new] audio/liblo

kinichiro inoguchi
liblo is an implementation of the Open Sound Control protocol.
I would like to have this since some audio tools require this.

Once old version (0.29) was in ports but it appeared to be removed years ago.
Can you add this new version (0.31) to ports, again ?

In Makefile, I bumped REVSION = 1 and SHARED_LIBS to 0.2,
since last old version has no REVISION and SHARED_LIBS was 0.1.

I had checked that 'make', 'make install', and 'make uninstall' worked
on my OpenBSD 6.7 amd64.

I appreciate any comments and feedbacks.

Best regards,

Kinichiro Inoguchi

Agreed, this would be useful. I had done a version in openbsd-wip [1], but I
think your version is slightly better, so I'd suggest going with yours.

Hello Laurence,

Thanks for checking this.
I would like to proceed this if no objection from others.

And I would like to add 'ac_cv_prog_DOXYGEN=""' as CONFIGURE_ENV in Makefile
to disable building documentation in case doxygen is installed.

I will attach new liblo.tar.gz in this mail.

ok?

Please set the library version to 0.0 for initial import (and remove
REVISION).

Please either add "LIBTOOL_FLAGS += --tag=disable-static" or regenerate
the PLIST to include the static library.

Otherwise OK.

Are you sure Stuart?
We used to have liblo.so.0.1, it seems weird to import the lib back with a smaller solib version.

Cheers!

Oh, thanks for catching that! I didn't realise it was in ports before.

In that case it is probably best if we use a shared library version of 1.0
(and it will be easier to "cvs -d cvs.openbsd.org:/cvs add" to reinstate
the directories and files rather than re-importing, which will require a
cvs merge).

Re: [new] audio/liblo

kinichiro inoguchi
Ok, then I will set
SHARED_LIBS +=         lo      1. 0    # 11.1

We still don't need Revision?
REVISION =             1

I will use cvs add to instate 'liblo' directory and files when I commit.

Thanks

correct. the old version was 0.29, new one is 0.31, so REVISION is not needed.
