In a few days the macppc serial ports will change names from
/dev/tty0? to /dev/ttya (like on the sparc). This means that if you
are relying on a serial port on a macppc machine, you should get
/usr/src/etc/etc.macppc/MAKEDEV, copy it to /dev/MAKEDEV, and run
at least "sh MAKEDEV tty00 ttya". If you are using serial console,
you also want /etc/ttys
Right now the tree is in a "safe middle state" for a few more days...
to make it easier for people to switch over.
