ekiga

Marco Peereboom
I am trying to get ekiga to do video conferencing (using asterisk) but
it either hangs or crashes when doing so.  Anyone got it to work?

Sometimes the other sees the video but there is no audio and for all
intents and purposes ekiga is hung.

Everything is up to the second.  Not really sure what else to send in.

Example crash

Re: ekiga

Similar story here, on i386.  iaxcomm has hints of video support, but I suspect
it would require some coding to make it work.  I'll add that to my low priority
todo list.

The other app that should do video is empathy.

It failed in similar ways last I tried it also.

If anyone has further hints or details I'd be interested also.

Thanks,

Kopete is at least able to retrieve video stream from camera too. Didn't
even try to use it for audio/videoconferencing yet, though.
