Christian Weisgerber
bsd.rd from the latest arm64 -current...

... dies immediately on the OverDrive 1000:

booting sd0a:/bsd: 3760843+1549312+3881848+0+598016 [296286+128+459072+306029]=0xa5b690

Do other people see this as well, on other hardware?
Any ideas?

Hi Christian,

More detail PLEASE....

Do any earlier versions work?
Is Linux (what version) working?

What boot options do you have?
USB, eMMC, SATA disk (mentioned)

What console device?

At $70 for an Odroid N2, a 2016 second hand computer is well....

Alan

Never mind.  It works when you use the correct architecture.
Somehow I managed to s/arm64/amd64/ several times.  *sigh*

See naddy's follow-up post for the cause, but I just wanted to comment
on this:

OD1000 is far better suited to ports development work than Odroid N2
(or most of the less expensive boards supported by OpenBSD/arm64).
The Odroid's 4GB max RAM isn't enough, and there's no good option for
write-intensive storage.

The boards which are actually better than OD1000 for this are more
like US$500+ (plus whatever shipping/import duty/brokerage fees).

(Plus we already have the OD1000 systems, so anything above $0 is
more expensive..)
