>Description:
the window manager of xfce4 (xfwm4) hangs within 30 seconds - 5 minutes
of starting x.  this doesn't happen with a non-MULTIPROCESSOR kernel.
>How-To-Repeat:
install the following packages:

libxfce4mcs, libxfce4util, libxfcegui4, xfce-mcs-manager, xfce-mcs-plugins,
xfce-util, xfce4-panel, xfdesktop, xfwm4

put the following in .xinitrc:
xfce-mcs-manager
xfwm4 --daemon
xftaskbar4 &
xfdesktop &
exec xfce4-panel

and run startx.  flipping through the virtual desktops or running firefox
seems to be enough to cause the hang.  i'm not sure if this happens on an
i386 machine running bsd.mp.

killing and restarting xfwm4 makes the desktop usable again until another
hang.
>Fix:
pedro@ helped me look at this before but we never really found anything
conclusive.
