works here. sync fine with a large mailbox.

convert to pkg-readmes (pkg/README).

This notice is only useful once during update, and it is unlikely be a
big deal if user misses it.  I wouldn't clutter pkg-readmes with things
like that.

These days, MESSAGE is only displayed by pkg_add -u if it has changed from the previous version (rather than for every update), so it seems a useful place for information like this - not to intrusive and more likely to be seen by the right people than a faq/current.html entry.

I've been using this for a while (mbsync at least).

I notice that the isync command segs. Not looked into it, but I have no
.isyncrc file (only a .mbsyncrc), so that may be why.

could you try to reproduce again?
isync doesn't segs here. (@amd64)

mbsync (not this version though, the one on amd64 -current) segfaults
every time it can't resolve the server name, and has been doing so for a
while now. I've been meaning to report it for a while now, but never
bothered / got the time to address it properly. Maybe that's what
Dmitrij is seeing.

Isync doesn't segfault here, although it does nothing without
configuration file.

Frankly, I didn't bother configuring and trying isync at all - it is
provided for compatibility with long-obsolete release, and upstream
suggests to use mbsync instead for several years now.  I'm not sure they
test it.

C'mon, you guys know that "it crashes" is a useless report. Backtrace?!
