        My mouse that formerly worked does not respond at all on the latest
        snapshot. I cannot move it, click any button, etc. In dmesg I see
        "uhidev_intr: bad repid 228" each time I reseat the mouse.

        2. Plug in mouse
        3. Mouse does not work

I hope it's not related to the set_idle change.
