NEW: [2/2] x11/kde-applications/k3b

Rafael Sadowski
Please read "NEW: [1/2] x11/kde-applications/libkcddb" for more
information.

K3b works fine here and all tests are greee on amd64. Most patches are
from the old port.

HELP WANTED:
I no longer have a CD/DVD drive, could anybody form
the loving OpenBSD -current community burn one disk with this new port?

I don't expect any problems but it would be nice to get feedback

$ cat x11/kde-applications/k3b/pkg/DESCR
K3b was created to be a feature-rich and easy to handle CD burning
application.  It can do many things, such as creating or copying audio,
data, video or mixed-mode CDs, CD ripping, and DVD ripping, burning and
blanking.

Ok? Comments?

Best regards,

ok, according to our standard KDE procedure (only unhook old one until
no one whispers)?

Well, it would be nice to have someone actually test it with a cd drive....

Good luck finding the 0 or 1 people who are in all the following categories,

those that run OpenBSD
those using KDE
those with a CD writer
those who will actually test diffs

I had tried to do this with -current this past week and had the
following problems:

On my ports builder box I got the following error:

builder.lab.foretell.ca$ make install

So I manually built the following package:

-rw-r--r--  3 vijay  vijay      791475 Jun 27 19:51 libkcddb-17.12.3.tgz

Intent was to install KDE4 on a different system, put in the ports
tree there, and then try to build the package.

So I installed KDE4 on my new laptop (its a ThinkPad Carbon X1 -- so
it could be a problem with the machine and nothing to do with OpenBSD)
and unfortunately get the following error there:

What is a useful way to tackle this? Since I tried installing -current
and KDE on a new drive, got ports from CVS, and failed to build the
package, I am wondering if I am missing something simple.

My ports mk.conf has

PORTSDIR=/usr/ports
DISTDIR=/home/distfiles
SUDO=/usr/bin/doas

I tried to build with dpb (with BUILD_USER=vijay) as well as with make
clean all and both failed.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Thanks very much,

Vijay

Thanks very much for your reply and sorry about taking up your time on this.

I made sure the ports tree was cleaned repeated what I did earlier.
libkcddb builds but k3b does not because of Missing library for
KF5Cddb>=0.0

-rw-r--r--  3 vijay  vijay      791475 Jul  5 10:14 libkcddb-17.12.3.tgz

In case it helps, I will install KDE etc. from -current on a new
installation this weekend. Will do a cvs checkout ports on that system
and see if make install for k3b works there.
