Fwd: Openbsd + promox

remy dev
Hello Guys,

I hope this bug report has enough information for you.
I use proxmox with several operating systems depending on the case. Debian,
ubuntu, alpineLinux, widows.
It still works fine except for openbsd (I haven't tested with any other
product in the BDS family)

Since the switch to version 6, openbsd frezze regularly for no real reason,
but I've only tried it since version 5.9 so I don't have enough hindsight
to know if it's was ok before.
However on the proxmox forum, the problem seems to have appeared since
version 6, but the number of openbsd users is low so it's not necessarily
significant.

Regulary the probleme happen when I restart the systeme.

In this exemple, i was editing a config file with wim on a fresh install
(just akg_add wim) with the noVNC console from proxmox.

Screenshot when CPU crash openbsd with à 100% use.

I can only stop the system and start again.

Hardware settings

I really tried to find a solution to the problem, but nothing conclusive at
my level. but I think the problem comes from the display, even if it
doesn't make sense since there are crashes even without using NoVNC

Best regards

Rémy

Try setting kvm_intel.preemption_timer=0:
